Head Heart Hands

Head Heart Hands ; a trilogy that suggests the humanity, learnt skills and intrinsic reward in making a livlihood from creativity and workmanship. When I first heard of this, reading Satish Kumar's essays on education, it chimed with voices from the Arts & Crafts movement, and inspired us when founding Woldstone.

Head Heart Hands - the combined forces for inspired and brilliant craftsmanship

Head Heart Hands - the combined forces for inspired and brilliant craftsmanship

Woldstone celebrates designer goldsmiths and silversmiths. Studio goldsmiths do not mass produce, they painstakingly craft and experiment and hone and refresh to not only make unique and beautiful works but to innovate and push limits. Innovation is in the DNA of artisans; we not only enjoy their accomplished works, we invest in them as artists.

Learning about Satish's life and his active advocacy for peace and the welfare of the environment and our human souls, contributed in no small way to our passion for promoting the work of artisans.

The highest reward for a man’s toil is not what he gets for it but what he becomes by it.
