WOLDSTONE AND ZULEIKA GALLERY COLLABORATE TO SHOW DAVID WILLIAMS-BULKELEY
Woldstone is hosting Zuleika, an Oxford based pop-up gallery and art consultancy, to show a collection of works by David Williams-Bulkeley, a British artist who now lives in Boston, New England and counts John Singer-Sargent and James McNeill Whistler among his strongest influences.
Art is influenced greatly by nature and our built environments as is jewellery and silverware. Talk to an artist or a silversmith and you gather the same intuitive sense that they see things other miss, and have the skills to not only translate their observations into a new medium but to seek pleasure in the detail and the flaws of their object.
Williams-Bulkeley is self-taught and has established his reputation in London at the Royal Society of Portrait paintings, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and recently has been made a member of the Guild of Boston Artists. His work sits perfectly among the jewellery and silverware at Woldstone.
Woldstone and Zuleika share a passionate commitment to promoting and showing excellence in art and jewellery. Our focus is on 20th and 21st Century established and emerging contemporary art, in the case of Zuleika, and Jewellery and Silverware in the case of Woldstone. We each sell works by artists of international repute, and by artists whose work we love ourselves. Our focus is on quality, design and service.
To see David Williams Bulkeley's work , pay a visit to the gallery from February 4th onwards
